Oysters
A well known aphrodisiac, this shellfish along with scallops, salmon, and sardines are high in omega 3 fatty acids (which are good for your heart) and zinc (which boosts testosterone).

Chocolate
Antioxidant-rich dark chocolate is good for your heart. When you eat chocolate there is a release of chemicals including serotonin which is mood boosting and stress reducing. The production of Phenylethylamine causes changes in blood sugar and blood pressure levels which leads to feelings of excitement.

Nuts
Or more specifically, pine nuts which are rich in protein, menstruated fats and zinc.

Champagne
Champagne lowers inhibitions, so sip on the bubbly and enjoy.

Avocado
In addition to resembling a body part this vegetable is chock full of nutrients that stimulates the heart and libido.

In general, what is good for you is good for your sex life too. So plenty of exercise and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables along with the foods above and you’ll get your mojo going in no time.

Sex is Good for You, Have More of It

September 12th, 2008 by Christiexxx

Several of scientific studies have shown that having more sex is indeed good for your health. Keep in mind this doesn’t include unsafe sex or promiscuous sex –contracting a sexually transmitted infection certainly is not good for you. So, the following applies given you are engaging in sex with a healthy sex partner screened for STI’s.

Having frequent and fervent sex sessions bestows a lot of health benefits to both males and females. A 1997 study showed that men who reported more orgasms lived twice as long as those who did not. More studies have shown a variety of health benefits associated with increased sexual activity including:

  • Decreased risk of heart disease. A 2001 study on cardiovascular disease showed that men who had sex three or more times a week cut their risk of stroke and heart attack in half.
  • Pain relief. Just before orgasm, there is a huge surge in the hormone oxytocin (it surges to five times the normal level). This causes the release of endorphins which eases headaches and arthritis. In women sex causes the production of the hormone estrogen which helps to alleviate pain from PMS.
  • Bladder control. Having frequent sex works the kegel muscles which control the flow of urine.
  • Eases depression. A study of over two hundred women showed that those who had sex with partners without a condom had a lesser rate of depression than those who used condoms. Researchers suspect the hormone prostiglandin which is found only in semen is released in the female genital tract.
  • A healthy prostate. An international study of men in their twenties reported that men can reduce their chance of getting prostate cancer by ejaculating more than five times a week. Urologists believe that there is a definite link between the infrequency of ejaculation and prostate cancer. The remedy: flush those pipes regularly to clear out the toxins.
  • Decreases the cold and flu. Researchers in Pennsylvania say people who have sex once or twice a week have thirty percent more of the antibody immunoglobulin A, which boosts the immune system.
  • Healthy teeth. Seminal fluid is host to many minerals including zinc and calcium which fight tooth decay. It’s a more protein rich and satisfying method of oral hygiene than squeezing a tube of toothpaste, even tartar control toothpaste. In addition, most people brush their teeth before or after sex which also aids in better dental care.

In addition to these health benefits, frequent and enthusiastic sex is a great workout. One half hour session once a week for a year will burn 7,800 calories — the equivalent of jogging 75 miles at a moderate pace. Men’s Health Magazine calls the bed the single greatest piece of exercise equipment ever invented.
